Plot:
In a Tsarist Russia, Jewish peasant Tevye faces upheaval when his traditions are challanged: Within his family when his daughters rebel against marrying men chosen by the matchmaker and on a national level when the Jews are threatened by the looming revolution. The poor milkman's love, pride and faith help him face the oppression. Nominated for eight Academy Awards®.
